Tumse Ho jori

Lyrics of Tumse ho Jori

Tumse Ho jori, Tumse ho jori, Sachhi preet hum, tumse ho jori

Tumse ho jori, avar sang tori, tumse ho jori, avar sang tori, avar sang tori....
     Tumse ho jori.....

Jo tum divara rab, toh hum baati, Jo tum tirath toh him jaati
Toh hum jaati,  Tumse ho jori....

Jo tum Girivar, toh hum mora, Jo tum chand to, bhaye hum chakora
Bhaye hum chakora,   Tumse ho jori....

Jaha jaha jaaoo, taha teri sewa, Tumso oo thakur, avar na deva,
Avar na deva,   Tumse ho jori....

Madhave tum na toro, toh hum nahi tore, Tum sang tore to kavan sang jore
Kavan sang jore,   Tumse ho jori....

Tumhare bhajann, katai jam phaasaa, Bhagat het gavai ravidaasaa,
    Gave ravidaasa, Tumse ho jori...

Tumse Ho jori, Tumse ho jori, Sachhi preet hum, tumse ho jori

(Tied With You, Broke with the rest. The true love Knot is tied with you)

Tumse ho jori, avar sang tori, tumse ho jori, avar sang tori, avar sang tori... Tumse ho jori.....

(Tied With You, Broke with the rest. The true love Knot is tied with you)

Jo tum divara rab, toh hum baati, Jo tum tirath toh him jaati
Toh hum jaati, Tumse ho jori....

( If you are an earthen lamp god, than i am the wick that burns, if you are a holy shring than i am a devotee)

Jo tum Girivar, toh hum mora, Jo tum chand to, bhaye hum chakora
Bhaye hum chakora, Tumse ho jori....
(If you are a mountain, than i am a peacock, If you are the moon then I am Chakora, Then I am Chakora)

PS: Chakor is a Bird Pigeon which always desires for the moon but never reaches it. In poetry Chakor symbolizes unfullfilled love)

Jaha jaha jaaoo, taha teri sewa, Tumso oo thakur, avar na deva,
Avar na deva, Tumse ho jori....
(Wherever I go, Want to do your service, coz oh Thakur(Lord Krishna(Thakur), There's no other God..

Madhave tum na toro, toh hum nahi tore, Tum sang tore to kavan sang jore Kavan sang jore, Tumse ho jori....
(O Madhavaa(Lord Krishna) please dont break this knot, if you dont break it we wont break it, If we untie with you, then with whom shall we tie it, with whom shall we tie it)

Tumhare bhajann, katai jam phaasaa, Bhagat het gavai ravidaasaa,
Gave ravidaasa, Tumse ho jori...

(Your Bhajan frees us from all worldly deeds, hence Ravidas the devotee sings them.

(Ravidas was a great Poet)
